Summary:
Valentine's Day reminds Carol Kimball of her wedding back in June of 1939. The depression called for creative problem solving and Carol wore her grandmother's wedding gown. Her grandmother, Anna Maria Euell (Mary), married Edouard Cornet in 1872. Carol's Aunt May removed the stains and wrinkles and seamstress Mary Gagne altered the gown to fit Carol. The gown was then used by other family members. Walter Spencer took pictures at Carol's wedding but the photographs faded so that details of her gown are not fully captured.
