Summary:
This incomplete article tells about the Mystic Club, which served as the predecessor of the Mystic Community Center. The Cosmopolitan Club was organized around the turn of the 20th century, and met informally on East Main Street, before building the Mystic Club which opened in August of 1911. The club offered a kitchen, billiards, and bowling, and even had Ladies' Day once a week. When the First World War broke out several years later, the club's membership took a hit. After the war, the club did not recover. The article starts to mention a new club that started in 1921, but the rest of the article is not provided.
