Summary:
Carol Kimball was born and brought up in Quaker Hill and it was her land of enchantment . A recent trip found things had changed but there was still a familiar landmark, the Baptist Church, although the front entrance is no longer used. The old store has vanished and the land is now an attractive park. Her old homestead is still high on a terrace across the road from Smith Cove and right next door is Quaker Hill School, just like the olden days. Carol spotted where her friends, the Ginsbergs, once lived. Mr. Ginsberg sold groceries in the old store bordered by the three roads. His new store became the core of village life but today it serves as a pizza palor. Things change.
