Summary:
Charles A. Gray, retired Ledyard farmer, who was one of the prominent citizens of the town, died yesterday at Preston. He was 75 years old. Mr. Gray was born in the town of Groton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amarida Gray, but had resided in Ledyard nearly all of his life. In 1889 he married Miss Mary Elizabeth Peckham, daughter of Stephen Peckham, Mrs. Gray died a few years ago. He was a successful farmer and formerly raised a good many turkeys for the Norwich market.
