Summary:
A brief autobiography of Mary Virginia Goodman as told to the reporter. Born in 1897 as Mary Virginia Morgan. Her grandfather, Nelson Morgan, was the town clerk of Groton. She attended the District County School in Poquonock and Groton Heights School. After attending the Williams Memeorial Institute, she spent 1 year at Connecticut College before beginning her 46 year teaching career. Her weekly newspaper column Noank Notes began in 1970 and continues in the Norwich Bulletin. She is planning to write her life's story.
